What Astro Bot Developers Did Differently

Astro Bot is the surprise mega hit of 2024, and for many people, it's finally a concrete justification for owning a PS5.

Full disclosure: we don't own a PS5. It's not seemed worth it up until this point. Given its high price tag, it's still not really something we can justify.

That said, this week our kids have mostly been watching Mr A Game play Astro Bot, and it has to be said: the PlayStation 5 looks an awful lot more tempting than it did a week ago.

Tempting enough that we did actually look up the price of a PS5. Yeah, uh... maybe not. Maybe we'll wait until the PS5 Pro comes out in the hopes that some people will sell their old consoles to afford the mostly unnecessary upgrade.
