If you do not have the black blade depth guide you can buy it on Amazon or eBay. If you do not have the supplied nut driver from Makita you can use a 9mm wrench or socket. This is the most thorough guide I’ve seen. Sonce the one from Makita is only given with written instructions and others show you the wrong way to do it without the guide.
