This is not actually an official Riot Patch Rundown for League of Legends, nor is it the most helpful to learning what's new in patch 7.4 for League of Legends. It's just a fun take on what's going to be changing in League of Legends in patch 7.4. There are a lot of changes to lethality, a huge buff to Cho'Gath, a weird dissonance with Yordle hands, the practice tool is finally here, and ARURF is coming back! It's all in good fun, and I'm sure many in the league community may disagree, but remember, it's all just jokes and fun.

Welcome to the League of Legends poorly abridged 7.4 patch

Cho'gath takes longer to scale, but scales infinitely with his stacks. Perfect for a meta where most games are around 30 minutes long. Bard now goes slightly faster while leaving his Marksmen to 1v2. Cassiopeia's tail physics have been improved, but not enough to allow her to buy boots. Corki's regular rockets have been downgraded to bottle rockets, but the big one still packs the destructive power of an ICBM. Getting hit by a single bullet of Curtain Call doesn't condemn you to death. Katarina lost 2 magic resistance. Yep, that seems about right. Maokai's offspring now behave more like a heat seeking frag grenade and less like heat seeking frag grenades that also behave like impact grenades. Also his Q costs more at later ranks. Ryze's Q melts you slightly less than it used to if your opponent knows how to play Ryze properly.

All five fingered Yordles have been removed replaced with 4 finger doppelgangers.

Lethality from all 3 lethality items plus runes now add up to 69. Black Cleaver is still going to be busted on Miss Fortune, but it now counts as her defensive item too. Last Whisper and Lord Dominik's Regards are even more useless against targets who don't build armor and don't stack health. Supports don't have to worry about cluttering their bag with shitty Knight's Vow components.

Fervor of Battle may be seen on more than just 5 champions, while most other masteries are universally worse than they used to be.

Traps are no longer disabled just because you shine a flashlight on them. Conversely your tanks are less likely to idiotically blow themselves up while trying to disarm them. Killing wards is no longer a game of chicken with your support for final blow.

Your support and utility junglers are less likely to end the game at level 5 levels lower than everyone else. You no longer benefit more than usual for a turret first blood that you had nothing to do with.

Potato Mode makes it more difficult to quickly get to the end-of-game screen to flame people about their score. The practice tool is finally out, and it is surprisingly adequate, although years overdue.

URF will be back for a while, gone again, and then back again for some reason. Either way, it will still be a short enough time to want it to stay longer.
