The Wrestling Shoot Incidents that Built Shootstyle AND Japanese MMA

Shoot-style, a new form of pro wrestling that focused on realistic encounters, was essentially built and popularised thanks to incidents where guys went into business for themselves -- particularly the likes of Akira Maeda and Nobuhiko Takada.
