🔴 LIVE : UN General Assembly reconvenes Tenth Emergency Special Session: 56th meeting

The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) holds the 56th meeting for the ongoing debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in New York City on Wednesday, September 18. An Emergency Special Session of the UNGA was first held in 1997 in response to Israel’s construction of settlements in East Jerusalem and other areas. Since then, the session has been reconvened multiple times to address new developments in the conflict.
