I love Abbey Road Studios. Every time I go there it gives me shivers down my spine knowing how much great music from the past 80 years has been captured and made there. And it still is one of the finest recording facilities in the world. Over the past couple of years I've taken quite a few of my projects to this legendary studio for Mastering and I have built a great working relationship with one of their main Mastering Engineers Geoff Pesche (credits include: Coldplay, Page & Plant, Blur, Quantum of Solace, Mike Oldfield, Gorillaz, Basement Jaxx and countless more household names). It's a real pleasure and privilege working with Geoff in the studio, I really admire his work and having him add the final touches to my tracks using the stunning EMI analogue EQ's and Prism Compressors means I know they'll sonically and dynamically be unique but also stand up to any modern and retro sounding track.
I'm in the final stages of my next World/Acoustic soundtrack album. I've been working on it (on and off) for the past 6 months or so. It will be released later this year ... but for now - enjoy these teasers.
