TEXAS STRONG is more than a song of hope! It is an anthem we will be singing for years to come. In the midst of all the devastation and loss, Hurricane Harvey has managed to renew our spirit. During this time, there were no Republicans or Democrats, no one was fighting over statues or arguing over who can or can’t use which bathroom.

There was no blaming each other for our forefather’s sins. There was no passing judgment on our neighbor’s choices or lifestyle. We were all just people, flesh and bone, with a spirit and a will to survive. We were a community united by passion and love for one another.It is my hope that this tenacity binds us, strengthens us and encourages us to move forward in this same mindset.
