In this video I show how I make a bisque hump-slump mold. Bisque molds are nice to make since you already have clay and not as messy as plaster. Give it a try! You can use any bowl or bucket - anything that will allow you to slump clay in it. In this case, I am using the ceramic container from my slow cooker!

I also show, using a mold I previously made, why I like to use hump molds vs slump molds. With a hump molds, you can add the foot right after you put the piece on the mold instead of waiting for it to be dry enough to not be in the mold. This way, you are using clay that is the same wetness, which is always nice.
