Onestop.mid (SC-8820)

Ah, good ol onestop.mid, a beloved secret of Windows XP. Well, it was included in Windows versions beyond XP, in fact it's on my current version of Windows 10! But we all found it as kids in XP. Or at least I did. I uploaded a recording of this four years ago, but I figured I'd try again, and I think this sounds better in many ways, really.

This recording was made by me using an emulator of the Roland Sound Canvas. I mainly used the SC-8820 patches, but the drums are from a mix of the SC-8820, SC-88Pro, and SC-88, at least according to Roland Sound Canvas VA. I went and switched around the drumkits between sections to add to the variety. I also applied Distortion and Overdrive EFX to the guitars!

This composition is by one David Yackley, and you know what? It's a cool little ditty that encompasses a wide range of styles. I have absolutely nothing against it whatsoever.
