Robert Dallek is a New York Times best-selling author and Bancroft Prize-winning historian. He is the author of more than 15 books and is the leading academic historian of the American presidency. In May 2020, HarperCollins published his most recent book, How Did We Get Here? From Theodore Roosevelt to Donald Trump.

Dallek was joined by Pell Center executive director Dr. Jim Ludes and Salve Regina University history professor and Pell Honors Program director Dr. William Leeman for a discussion about U.S. presidential politics past and present.
