We're excited to introduce author, Inspire Yale awardee, and Yale University Bouchet Faculty Excellence awardee for research and teaching, Dr. Eboni Marshall Turman, a distinguished Yale University Divinity School professor. Specializing in constructive theology, ethics, and African-American religion, Dr. Turman's research delves into 20th-century U.S. theological liberalisms, focusing on Black and womanist theological traditions.



Author of "Toward a Womanist Ethic of Incarnation: Black Bodies, the Black Church, and the Council of Chalcedon," Dr. Turman is currently working on her new book, "Black Woman’s Burden: Male Power, Gender Violence, and the Scandal of African American Social Christianity."
