Federalisation vs Sovereignty - Adrienne Héritier | Joint Sessions of Workshops

In the framework of the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies' 30th Anniversary, the Centre concluded the celebrations with a week of Joint Sessions of Workshops. From 17 to 21 June 2024, scholars from various institutions, disciplines, and career stages collaborated to collectively address and discuss timely issues.

During the first day of the workshops, Director Erik Jones opened the ceremony and explained how the week aimed to represent the diversity of work carried out at the Centre.

Following this, Emeritus Professor Adrienne Héritier delivered her keynote speech, 'Federalisation vs Sovereignty', emphasising the crucial role of the intermediate political sphere in shaping political decisions and influencing politics at the EU level.
