I've got a weird one tonight. This is a status hearing that turns into a competency hearing on the defendant. Now, there are some serious charges behind the defendant which could be a reason to make up a story such as this. In fact, the state of Tennessee already found him competent just a few months ago. Now the defense attorney is arguing that his client is not even close to competent to stand trial and he may be right. Is this real or fake? There are times where I think this is absolutely a made up story to dodge the charges and then there are times where I'm wondering why this is even a hearing. Let me know what you think. Enjoy!
