We had to take Abella out of School!

We have always been so open about our parenting journey and today we are sharing with you our decision to TAKE ABELLA OUT OF SCHOOL… As you know we always try to do what is best for our family, especially after Neo’s CI’s implant surgery, it has been very challenging to balance all the needs of both a typical hearing child and a child with profound hearing loss who wears CI’s.

Over the last few months we realized we were spending too much time apart and life seemed to just get busier for all of us, so we made a family decision to homeschool Abella, so that we can focus on what truly matters - quality family time. We believe homeschooling is the best choice for Abella right now. Although she really looked forward to attend public schools with the rest of her classmates, she also felt better about her decision to leave regular school because she will have the freedom to customize her own education. With her upcoming gymnastics competition and her brother attending school in LA, this new path allows her to dedicate more time to her passions. From traveling and dancing to enjoying outdoor activities, Abella will have the freedom to explore her interests and thrive in a nurturing environment. We believe the benefits of homeschooling will only enhance Abella’s life. We can’t wait to share this exciting new chapter with all of you.
