It's been over a year since I've covered a track from Breath of the Wild, and it's time I finally put some love back into my favorite OSTs. Zora's Domain is without a doubt my favorite town to head to upon starting the divine beast missions. The levels are beautiful, the fish are beautiful (iykyk) and the level just plays out so smoothly from start to finish. I always love how easily the piano scores that water level feel, and I had the most fun playing those triplet lines harmonized in sixths. Here, I welcomed VGM colleague Joseph Chang, who makes excellent percussion ensemble arrangements of VGM tunes, to play percussion on this track to not only offset my workload recording all the strings and piano, but to bring in a fresh face to bring my favorite sounds to life in a manner I normally wouldn't. Additionally, Madalyn is also back to lay down some beautiful flute lines as she has played on my other BotW covers and also shares the love for this game as much as I do.
