Tiniest Cars Ever Made | Microcar Show | MicroSouth

On this episode, we’re heading to a big show full of tiny cars. MicroSouth is a super fun gathering in Longwood, FL featuring a huge variety of the smallest cars ever made! We start off with a 14HP Microcar built off of a scooter platform in the late 1950’s. With the front and back both opening the same way, it’s hard to tell if the Zundapp Janus 250 is coming or going. Amazingly, this symmetrical little ride was built for a family of four. Just wait until you see how everyone fits inside.

Next up is a rare aviation-themed roadster that was one of only 50 ever built. The 4-wheeled Messerschmitt TG500 Tiger is one high performance Microcar. Powered by a 494cu.in. two stroke 2-cylinder engine, this aeronautical automobile definitely flies down the road.

Then we check out a really cool little Fiat Multipla microvan. Packing a whopping 4-cylinder 600cc engine and an early version of hideaway seats, the 1959 Multipla was a great family vehicle as well as a work horse.

After that, Dennis discovers a neat two-door car made by Vespa! The 1958 Vespa 400 came standard with a rollback convertible top, and a tiny 2-cycle engine. It’s no race car, but it sure looks like a fun way to cruise around the Sunshine state.

We wrap this show up with a sweet fiberglass bodied British 2-seater that’s basically a 4-wheeled motorcycle. The Berkeley is a chain-driven roadster powered by an Excelsior motorcycle engine. It’s light as a feather and fast for a microcar.

They say good things come in small packages and this show definitely proves it!
