K Kavitha, Telangana MLC and daughter of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, is sitting on dharna in New Delhi for the Women's Reservation Bill and has brought opposition parties on the same stage. Kavitha had popularised a flower festival and repurposed it as a symbol of self-respect and assertion of statehood of the people of Telangana.

BRS MLC in Telangana K Kavitha, who will appear before the ED in connection with the same case, has lashed out against BJP, calling it "tactics of intimidation".
