The aft centering of motor mount will be removed from the rocket later, so we have to have a handle to pull it out of the tube. You’ll tie a cord to the centering ring for to create the handle. You’ll then install the LONG shock cord to the eyebolt on the front centering ring. We’ll protect it from the heat of the ejection charge from the rocket motor by wrapping it in masking tape. Then you’ll do a test fit of the fins into the slots on the tube.

The Level-2 rocket kit is capable of using motors from H-size to L-size. It is perfect for those wishing to get their Level-2 high-power certification. It is made from fiberglass tubes and components, so it is practically indestructible with normal operation. It also has the capability to use dual-deployment recovery, which involves using two parachutes that are deployed at different altitudes in order to keep the rocket from drifting too far away.
