1. Love is peculiar
in that we know what it is, can sometimes describe it in abstract terms, but can never define it. Add the variables — you may love a car, cat, and human, but not in the same way.

2. The short answer: Yes, Aspies experience love as well as other emotions.

3. Our problem is expressing emotions that confuses neurotypical people and, in return, they don't also reciprocate -- not do we necessarily want them to.

4. It all boils down to a communication problem. Mind blindness inhibits our ability to understand the emotions of others and causes others to misunderstand our emotions.

5. Suffice it to say that Aspies tend to express emotions differently. For example, we may do things rather than say things to express love and other emotions. And ofttimes we say or do nothing, leaving those we love clueless.
