So you might of heard...QuantumTV has been claiming that forcing BT.2020 color space on SDR(Rec.709) content is the answer to making your LG OLED or other brands of TVs look so amazing. Well I’m here to put that notion to rest. As I demonstrate in this video, forcing BT.2020 on SDR content is very damaging to the content, and color accuracy of a display. This makes skin tones look completely unnatural, and wrong/inaccurate! It doesn’t just effect skin tones tho. It effects all colors and accuracy. I can’t believe that I have to make videos like these, to prove someone wrong, who calls themself a “professional calibrator”. This is just another nail in his coffin, as he continues to expose himself...his lies, agenda, and misinformation. I made this video, bc he comes to my channel, just to comment and try and call me out.

BT.2020 is for HDR content...not SDR...and I prove exactly why.

I used various examples off channels that I personally follow on YT. I hope they don’t mind, it was just a quick and easy way for me to demonstrate the negative effects.
