Volvo XC70 Vacuum Pump Seal Replacement DIY (2008-2016 Volvo P3 S60, XC60, V70, V60, S80)

►Like many modern European engines, Volvo's near-bulletproof SI6 engine relies on a mechanical vacuum pump to provide the negative pressure needed for braking and other systems. However, they all tend to go wrong in some way. In Volvo's case, they love to leak oil, but you can fix that at home by replacing the vacuum pump seals. Replacing the vacuum pump would also work, but a seal kit is 15% of the cost of a new one and fixes the problem just the same.

In this video, Mike Hidalgo, FCP Euro's Professional DIY'er, replaces the P3 Volvo XC70 vacuum pump seals.
