This one takes place in Super Mario World, a break from Super Mario Bros 2, and although it pays tribute to all the Pikmin games, the mechanic of collecting treasure/berries and converting them into fuel is specifically inspired by ‘Hey Pikmin’.
I asked viewers to submit their pixel art to be used as the treasures in this episode, along with a name for the treasure and description. A very special thanks to everyone who took part in the contest, the art and writing I’ve received has been amazing!
Also as always there's a hidden Pikpik carrot in this episode, I hid it REALLY well this time!
If you’re new to this series, the main character of season 2 is Imajin from ‘Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic’ (the game that was turned into Super Mario Bros 2), don’t know why? Check out the full series:

Original, full item descriptions, including the bonus items featured in the outro, enjoy!
Dimensional Shades (3D glasses) by Dusk_Dragoon
‘A fancy looking pair of paper glasses with two colored lenses, looking through them I can see the world in red and blue. It may look pretty old, but it does make you look cool while wearing them. It gives out an old school feeling like a cool kid’
Tablet of Joy (Nintendo Switch) by Awesome Sauce
‘A shiny tablet with two neon-colored bars on it's sides. They are fragile and easy to break off, making it useless to use. It's good source of power though, but it drains out too quickly.’
Mystery Totem (Sonic Ice-lolly) by MonkeyDonts
‘This appears to be some sort of totem pole sculpture dedicated to a long forgotten species. Unfortunately, the totem was crafted from an unstable frozen substance, causing deterioration.’
Timey-Wimey-Ball (Pokeball) written by megapokekid, pixel art by LonelyCreep
‘This ball seems to be bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. I tried opening it, but it sent out a giant mouse-like creature. The yellow pikmin seemed to love it though.’
Portable Refuelling Station (PS1) by Spinslash165
‘I don't like this thing at all. Just looking at it makes me feel uneasy, like there's something hiding inside. Hopefully it's worth something...‘
Ultra Breathalyzer (N64 cartridge) by Nikocool
‘This object seems to bare a striking resemblance to the Retro Breathalyzer, but performs significantly better, whatever it does…’
Sacred Helmet (from Kid Icarus) by Another Guy with a Toon Link Profile Pic
‘Wow, it looks as good as new! Only a true warrior must've worn this for an unforgettable battle of the ages. But why does it smell like ice cream?’
Pearlescent Statue (Pearlescent Amiibo) by Tlbob
She's the queen of rap, there's no denial. With a voice so loud, she can be heard for miles. Splatting foes right off the grid. I'm just not sure if she's a squid or a kid
Sentient Sack (Smash Bros Sandbag) by Blair Macleod
It looks familiar to me but whatever it is, it seems to show signs of happiness when the Pikmin attack it. Maybe it's meant to be attacked?
Woolly Vermin (Woolly Yoshi Amiibo) by ShyGuyXXL
Although seemingly harmless, this synthetic creature seems to have unexpected faculties hidden within its posterior.
Perforated Disk (Pikmin3) by Raddish
This disk seems to have portraits of the various creatures around me. The back is very shiny and reminds me that I need to shave...
Louink from Hyruletate (Louie/Link crossover Amiibo) by LadyBug SuperStar
Well excuuuuuuuuuuuuse me Pikmin friends!? Since when have I ever seen Louie looking like that green guy I’ve met in Smash!?
Retro Breathalyzer (NES cartridge) by Hat-Loving Gamer
‘I thought this was broken until the Pikmin blew into it. I’m not sure what it measures, or how to read it, but the sticker on the front reminds me of home.’
Many-Colored Dashboard (SNES controller) by Hat-Loving Gamer
‘Legends say that whoever holds it can control the universe, as well as stop time.’
