🦐 Fisheries and aquaculture play a key role in Vietnam’s economy, accounting for about 5% of the country’s GDP. Aquaculture alone accounts for nearly 50% of its seafood production.
The world’s fourth largest aquaculture producer, Vietnam is strongly positioned in a dynamic sector and market.

However, global warming means that the conditions required for a thriving and environmentally responsible aquaculture sector are at risk.
How to balance the economy and job security with the environment, in a sector already under pressure?
This is the issue facing Vietnam and for which it has just launched a nationwide project: NAGIS.
