Men and Women cover the sidewalks and partially on the street. Massachusetts Avenue where they have makeshift rooms with their personal belongings close by...trash that litters the street as well as the sidewalk with some areas gated where they lean on for support. It's their temporary safe haven . 2022 was a year when plans was set to clean up the streets on Skid Row. 2023 Men and Women are off the street of Massachusetts Avenue a makeover from yesteryear has taken place the street is clean no more makeshift rooms, no more bicycles or trash that took over the street and sidewalk. The streets are beautified again where are the homeless and the opioid users that once migrated there? Did they find refuge elsewhere was the promise for housing or shelter kept or did they find another street that can call home? I Pray that they are in a place of warmth and peace. May 2023 be the year a change has been made and kept.
