DIY Sashiko fabric tray making with Shippou-tsunagi - how to draw and stitch the pattern

Описание к видео DIY Sashiko fabric tray making with Shippou-tsunagi - how to draw and stitch the pattern

Thank you for watching!
Here are the dimensions of the tray and the materials.
The tray size : 20cmx15cmx3cm
The top panel: 28cmx23cm (plain cotton fabric which is thin enough to stitch the pattern)
The bottom panel: 28cmx23cm (solid cotton canvas)
The interfacing: 20cmx15cm (thick and solid type)
The circle template: 2.5cm radius
The size of grid: 8x6 with 2.5cm squares

Normally, I would cut the interfacing into the same size as the bottom panel, but I wanted to stitch the edges by hand so I cut it smaller this time.
If I'm not stitching by hand, I would use thinner interfacing and cut into the same size as the back panel to support the whole tray.

I hope you enjoyed the video and please subscribe!
