I was wrong about this climate charity

When GiveDirectly first reached out to me, I turned them down. I had extreme concerns about the way their charity operated and I did not think they were an effective way to combat climate change.

It turns out I was wrong. After weeks of reading and researching I came to realise that my perceptions of how charity was supposed to work were clouding my judgement. This video is about the journey I went on.
