Types of Tufting
Tufting is a process in which you add buttons to the surface of an upholstered piece of furniture to create diamond- or square-shaped clusters in the material. .
The raised sections are called tufts.
Traditionally used in sofas and chairs, tufting is also used in headboards, poufs, ottomans and so on.
1. Diamond tufting
The fabric is pulled and secured in a way to create diamond patterns.
2. Biscuit tufting
in biscuit tufting the fabric is stitched in a way to create uniform squares or rectangles of about 8–10 inches.
3. Button tufting
buttons are used and stitched to form squares instead of diamonds, and the dimples vary from deep to quite shallow.
4. Blind tufting
Blind tufting lacks any recognizable pattern in the upholstered furniture

This tufting style features horizontal or vertical stitched lines where the padding fills a long channel between two lines of stitching,
