ABOUT SADYOJATAM :
Sadyojatam, under the tutelage of Smt. Lalitha Chandra Sekhar, has been conducting a number of classical / devotional music workshops with an objective to reach out people and bring them close to our traditional classical music. As part of these workshops, Annamayya Keertanas, Narayana Teertha Tarangams, Jayadeva Astapadis, Sadasiva Brahmendra Keertanas, Dasa Sahitya Devarnamas etc were tuned by Smt.Lalitha and imparted to participants that included those with no formal prior learning of classical music. Through these simple tunes we could successfully involve hundreds of enthusiastic students of all ages and draw them close to our traditional music which is replete with Bhava and Bhakti.

ABOUT THE ARTISTE :

Smt. Veeraghanta Lalitha Chandra Sekhar hails from a family that upholds rich tradition and cultural values. She has learned the nuances of music from Sangita Sudhanidhi Smt. Sistla Vasundhara Devi, a guru known to perpetuate the rich musical lineage of Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. Sripada Pinakapani. She had her advanced tutelage in music from Nada Yogi, Sangeeta Kalanidhi. Shri. Nedunuri Krishna Murthy.

In her music career spanning over three decades as a performing artiste she has won many awards and accolades.

She has been a graded artiste of All India Radio for twenty seven years.
Smt. Lalitha Chandra Sekhar is known for her gifted and mellifluous voice with soft melody and aesthetics. Her lithe classical renditions are a rich blend of tradtion and devotion. Emotive exposition of the lyrics with Bhakti and Bhava has been her hallmark.

Smt. Lalitha Chandra Sekhar is a Bachelor of Commerce from Andhra University and a Fellow Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She has been in active practice as a Chartered Accountant since 1992.
