The New York Academy of Sciences partnered with the FNIH to host an Expert Talk with the 2018 Lurie Prize recipient, Dr. Zhijian "James" Chen. During this talk for high school students in the Academy's Junior Academy program, Dr. Chen told stories and shared experiences about becoming a scientist, talked about who his mentors were, why he pursued a career in STEM and about his research.
