“Question of National Security” has been trending since the imposition of ban on internet services in Jammu and Kashmir last year. On Aug 5, 2019 Section 144 was imposed in J&K that restricted the unlawful assembly of more than four people in a particular area. The Government declared the revocation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution which gave J&K a special status within the Indian union. The government also decided to bifurcate the state into two Union Territories; Ladakh and J&K passing the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019.

In this video we will discuss the Role of Judiciary in the Restoration of Internet Services through 3 Important and Recent Judgments :
1. Faheema Shirin v. State of Kerala (2019)
2. Anuradha Bhasin v. UOI (2020)
3. The Case of Foundation of Media Professionals v. Union of India & Anr (2020) that is popularly known as the 4G case
