Back story:
Cara and Kahlan are 2gether and in love and happy but Shota decides that for the fate of the world, they need to b broken up (ppl who hav watched the entire series understand why). So in order to split them up, she starts plaguing Kahlan with a dream of Cara betraying her to be with Leo who is traveling with them. She has this dream every night which only makes her upset so whenever she sees Cara with Leo, she takes out all her frustrations and anger on Cara who is trying to figure out what's going on with her.
