Trapping Rollie Pollies, Pill Bugs, Sow Bugs

Описание к видео Trapping Rollie Pollies, Pill Bugs, Sow Bugs

Remember those cute little Rollie Pollie bugs you played with as a child? Those same little Pill bugs that go to work in your compost and break down decomposing matter in your garden can get out of control and turn into an infestation.

Did you know that those doodle bugs are not bugs at all, but crustaceans? That’s right! The are related to shrimp, crabs, and crayfish. Although they can no longer live in water, they breathe through gills that have to stay moist. This is why they prefer moist environments.

Fun facts: Sow bugs don’t urinate and they can drink from both ends of their body 😲

If you are like me and you’ve inadvertently created an environment conducive to an infestation, then follow along as I try a few tricks to trap these guys organically without doing harm to other beneficial insects and animals in my garden.

As always, thanks for watching. I really appreciate your support. I would love to hear from you, so don’t forget to leave a comment. I try to always respond.

May the Most High bless you and keep you. 🙏🏽 - Tanya 💚
