💈 Relaxing 1-hour Haircut Finished with a Citrus-Scented Hot Towel | Sweeney Ted Barbershop Malaysia

Last year while we were in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, I got a haircut and hair styling finished with a relaxing citrus-scented hot towel at Sweeney Ted. Ted Lee made a career switch in his thirties to open his barbershop almost 3 years ago.

After working for years in the corporate world, Ted found himself at a crossroads in his career. He had to make a decision to either continue working in the corporate field where he was unhappy or pursue something he was truly passionate about.

In his spare time, Ted had been cutting hair as a hobby.  He found himself happiest when he made people look and feel good.  Ted says he loves the process, finds it therapeutic, and loves the interaction with customers from all walks of life.  He also really enjoys working with his hands which is something he didn’t realize until later on in life.  

Ted spends an hour with his customers for a haircut.  After the consultation, he provides a detailed haircut finished with a hot towel, and then gives tips on styling your hair.

Ted's barbershop has a clean minimalist look.  Since there is so much going on in the world, Ted says he wants a space that feels calm, quiet, and clutter free.  Ted wants his customers to come in for a haircut or hot towel shave and relax their worries away!
