They do all kinds of marketing studies (on people, of course, asking them enough question to be sure what people want the most).
Europeans are just the other extreme, too small engines not really eco......
I wonder how the hell they even succeed doing 1.4 l engines with less than 150 hp, which is an extra effort, definitely considering that more power always means bigger fuel consumption, pfff..........
