Getting Started With dbt | Set Up dbt Cloud for Google BigQuery

dbt (data build tool) created by dbt lab, is a tool enable data engineers to transform data within a data warehouse. Basically, dbt is a tool specialized in the Transformation (T) in an ETL process. I have noticed more data jobs are now required dbt as part of the skill requirement.

In this tutorial, I will walk you through the steps to set up Google BigQuery to connect to dbt cloud.

This guide will walk you through:
- Setting up a new BigQuery instance
- Accessing sample date in a public data set
- Connecting dbt Cloud to BigQuery

I will be following the example from dbt's website, you're more than welcome to follow along the example there from the link in the description.
