Quick Tips for Dm's - Five Questions for Intrigue

There are five principal questions that should be asked when weaving a tale of intrigue for your players. Indeed, these questions will help in any campaign or story your tell, but here they will be especially important.

Who is involved?
What are their goals?
What is the Context?
What is the plan?
What is the counter plan?

In answering these five questions and occasionally asking them again in response to the players actions, any storyteller can keep threading along a tapestry of entanglement, shadows and needles lurking just beneath the surface of the colorfully inviting yarns.
