Crochet Amigurumi Elephant Lovey Pattern | Tutorial To Continue Crocheting The Body & Tail

Did you see how I crocheted the legs for my Elephant Lovey together? It’s all part of the first round to crocheting the body for this cuddly toy. I’m still working on the design and in this amigurumi tutorial, I’m showing you how to continue crocheting the body and the tail in just a few rounds.

I remember crocheting a plushie where a small tail was sewn into the body and I just thought, “Why!?” It felt like such a waste of yarn… leaving a long yarn tail after crochet a few stitches just to create a tail. So, now I just crochet the tail as I make the body where it makes sense.
