Being raised a Baptist Christopher had pre-conceived notions about what the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was and was taught to dislike it.

After meeting his wife, Heather, he found out that she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he saw something in her that he didn't see in himself and desired to learn more.

After reading the Book of Mormon, going to church and meeting with the missionaries he felt the Spirit and the goodness of the gospel.

We know that those who read the Book of Mormon with an open, seeking mind can receive their own confirming revelation from God about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon.
