2019 Hyundai Verna SX(O) AT Variant In-Depth Review with on-road price | Hyundai Verna SX O | Specification | Interior | Exterior | Carquest

The Hyundai Verna is available in five variants: E, EX, SX, SX+ and SX(O). The base E variant with a petrol engine is priced at Rs 8.08 lakh whereas the corresponding diesel variant costs Rs 9.33 lakh for diesel. The top-spec Hyundai Verna SX(O) AT variant is priced at Rs 12.84 lakh for the petrol version and Rs 14.04 lakh for diesel version. 

The Hyundai Verna is available with four engine options: 1.4-litre petrol,1.4-litre diesel, 1.6-litre petrol and 1.6-litre diesel. The 1.4-litre petrol engine produces 100PS/132Nm, while the 1.6-litre petrol engine churns out 123PS/151Nm. Power figures for the 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engine stand at 90PS/220Nm and 128PS/259Nm, respectively. Both 1.6-litre engines are offered with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox, while the 1.4-litre engines are available only with a 6-speed MT.

The top-spec Hyundai Verna SX O Petrol is powered by 1.6-liter engine capable of putting out 123 PS and 130 Nm of raw performance. There is 6-speed manual transmission doing the duty makes the light work of city traffic and even helps the car to rev freely on the highway.

In addition to the features of the SX variant, Verna top of the line SX(O) variant gets projector headlamps with DRLs, LED tail lamps and cornering lamp. The Hyundai Verna SX(O) model comes with 16” alloy wheels making the car quite contemporary and upmarket.

Hyundai Verna SXO Interiors

Over and above the features offered in the SX variant, this top of the line SX(O) Model comes with ventilated seats, leather upholstery, electric sunroof, chrome door handles, and adjustable rear seat headrests. The premium leather upholstery feels very good and nice and it will go a long way in making the car very upmarket and high-end. The only weak link in the chain is the cramped rear seat which legs in the head room and leg room. Even the width of the car is not very commendable and this will cause some problem with the sitting of 3 adults in the back.

Hyundai Verna SX O Specification

2019 Hyundai Verna SX (O) comes with large 7-inch touch screen audio system, smart trunk, adjustable rear curtain, engine push button start, front and rear speakers, tweeters and Bluetooth connectivity, auto-link technology, audio-remote application from the Hyundai. Along with these, you will get eco-coating technology, electrically foldable OVRMs, height adjustable seat belts, and electrochromic mirror.

Hyundai Verna SX O Safety

Hyundai Verna SX(O) is probably one of the safest cars with 6-air bag on the offer. Along with these you’ll be getting the safety features like height adjustable seat belts, automatic headlamps, reverse parking camera, reverse sensors, speed sensing auto door lock, and burglar alarm. All these features are in addition to the safety equipment like dual airbags, anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution, Iso-fix child mounts, central locking, and seat belts with pre-tensioners.
