8th Gen Ford F-150 Ignition Control Module Mystery

Hello all!
For the last few months I have been working on getting this truck running. Before I started working on it the truck had not moved on its own power in over 10 years. During that time rain got into the block and it got rusted pretty bad. I bought a new engin and found a do it yourself shop where me, my father in law, and my friend got to work pulling out the old block and putting in the new one. We also overhauled the break system. After getting it started for the first time and starting our way home the truck started to act like it wanted to die. We went through a whole range of ideas to fix it and eventualy, with help from a Facebook group dedicated to these trucks, we found out the Ignition control module was to blame and once replaced it started working great! So if your truck seems to start running like garbage after putting in a new distributor this might be your solution!
