DCC has remote updated this meter to have new features from Oct2020
DCC is WideAreaNetwork similar to mobile network but only accessible by Electricity suppliers. This SMETS1 meter is NOT currently readable via DCC - so we STILL provide manual readings. Its 2G signal SMS communications.
SMETS2 type meter may be readable.
If you have PAYG but it hasn’t shown on your IHD, you can add the credit directly to your Smart meter - press A(VEND mode) then key in your 20 digit Transaction Reference Number (TRN) when you’re finished, press the red ‘B’ key. The meter will either then accept or reject the code.
