Camping and Hiking in the KofA National Wildlife Refuge

At 665,400 acres, the KofA National Wildlife Refuge is one of the largest Wildlife Refuges in the the United States outside of Alaska. It was created to protect Desert Bighorn Sheep and offers a variety of recreational activities. We spent some time there in February camping and hiking in the spectacular Palm Canyon as well as the surrounding Sonoran desert.
