When speaking of Meghalaya's very own Summersalt, a folk-fusion band that consistently embraces the merging of traditional Khasi Music with genres from around the world, Pynsuk Syiemiong's name always stands out. How many of us, though, are aware of what lies beneath the radiant beauty and commanding voice that give songs like "Kamai ia ka Hok" their power?

One of the band's strongest members and the only female member, Pynsuk alias Suk, spoke candidly with our host, Codefreemen, about her life as a performer, teacher, wife, and mother.
