this is another Ted's Hospitality Minute.
This is Ted Kelly.
Hey today we're going to chat a little
bit about if you're fortunate enough
hopefully some of us are to have
projects underway.
How are you managing say the model room
review part.
We know there is obviously with any
hotel chip renovation there's always a
design phase and selecting finishes
and deciding what
we want it to look like based on
what the new brand standards are.
But once you get to a point where you've
selected the finishes you know what you
want the room to look like,
how are you guys actually handling the
piece where you would
typically go to the site look, at the actual model
room once the general contractor has
completed it and actually put your hands on
the materials, the fabrics,
the walls, the paint to see how
everything looks and feels
based on where you're trying to go with
the property. So
it's an interesting dynamic because now
that we're in the world in the age of
zoom calls and go-to meetings and
those types of new technology pieces are
you actually physically visiting the property for the
model room reviews.
Are you sending a smaller contingent
or is it all virtual interesting
dynamic.
