33 Tones in 10 Minutes - Casiotone CT-S1000V & CT-S500

A compilation of short audio demonstrations using a variety of Tones selected from the 800 presets available in both the Casiotone CT-S1000V and CT-S500 models. The CT-S1000V is the model used in this video. Note that only the CT-S1000V has the “Vocal Synthesis” feature and that is NOT being demonstrated in this particular video.

Despite their compact size and “home keyboard” design, both these Casiotones have a vast range of great sounding, useful, colourful, characterful and also powerful Tones available. Everything from traditional acoustic instruments, electric guitars/ basses, synthesizers, ethnic, GM and drum/ percussion Tones, plus also a selection of iconic Classic Casio Tones from vintage Casio models.

All Tones used in the video are standard CT-S1000V/ CT-S500 presets – there are additional tone shaping, DSP and layering features available that can take the tones even further.

All raw audio from the CT-S1000V was recorded directly from its line-out sockets into a Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HD sound interface, and then directly into a DAW (Mixcraft Pro Studio 9). No VSTs/ effects were used on the raw audio, other than a Limiter to prevent any clipping.
