The 18th Attorney General of Washington State, Ferguson is best known for his legal challenges to the Trump Administration's first travel ban on immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries. His department has also appealed the President's decision to end DACA and his prohibition of transgender people serving in the military. Ferguson is also an internationally rated chess master.
