True Distances

Taking 4 shots with the Howa 1500 30-06, to get my Nikko Stirling scope settings at various distances, while using the Hornady 150gr FMJ-BT.

I was thinking this scope wasn't tracking well enough, but now that I have measured the distances with a tape measure, I know now that my range estimation was incorrect.

The 300 yard shot didn't hit as high as planned, I'll take that shot again tomorrow to see if I made a error in technique.

I'm glad I missed that 100 yard shot, if it would have hit at that sight setting, it would have thrown a monkey wrench into the machinery.

I'm glad I got this sorted out, I would have missed every target at the match I am going to attend.
