Got lucky on eBay and snagged a parts/repair 34461A for cheap in the hope I could repair it.

I was expecting the classic SPEAR MCU failure. Let's see what I can do with this unit.

EDIT: I was asked for the part link for the screen I used on AliExpress. Linking below
