Swiss Meringue Buttercream is silky smooth, very versatile, and perfect for people who find American buttercream to be too sweet and greasy. It requires more effort than normal buttercream but the result is spectacular, it's fluffy, light, slightly salty and most importantly less sweet!
I always use this for my favourite old school buttercream cakes, swiss rolls (The links are at below) and even for macarons, plus, this buttercream is pretty stable and stays well in hot and humid weather, if you are looking for a less sweet buttercream, please give this a try ♥

RECIPES:

45GM EGG WHITE
60GM GRANULATED SUGAR
110GM SOFTENED SALTED BUTTER
1/2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT

FLAVOUR: (OPTIONAL)
2-3 TBSPS SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE/MELTED CHOCOLATE/JAM

PANDAN SWISS ROLL:
   • Pandan Swiss Roll l 香兰瑞士卷  

COFFEE SLICE CAKE:
   • Coffee Slice Cake l 咖啡奶油蛋糕  

食谱:

45克 蛋清
60克 细砂糖
110克 软化有盐牛油
1/2茶匙 香草香精

味道: (自由添加)
2-3汤匙 咸焦糖酱/融化巧克力/果酱

香兰瑞士卷:
   • Pandan Swiss Roll l 香兰瑞士卷  

咖啡奶油蛋糕:
   • Coffee Slice Cake l 咖啡奶油蛋糕
