Natalie Joy might have married Nick Viall for herself, but she says she was always thinking of the pair’s future children.
Joy, 26, posted a moving tribute to Viall, 44, in honor of Father’s Day on Sunday, June 15. “Married you for me, but I always had her in mind 🤍 watching you be a father to River has healed the little girl in me,” she captioned a series of photos shared on Instagram. “She has no idea how lucky she is but one day she will. The man who does more than enough for his family but doesn’t stop there. We love you 😭❤️ happy father’s day @nickviall.”
Viall also offered his own post on Instagram for Father’s Day.
“Greatest club to be a part of. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who show up and don’t waste the greatest gift of all. Especially my greatest role model,” he wrote, alongside a series of photos of himself with the pair’s daughter as well as with his own father.
The pair married in April 2024 at her family’s 300-acre farm in Georgia. The 170-person guest list included Bachelor Nation’s Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti and Ben Higgins while Victoria Fuller was Joy’s maid of honor. Other reality stars, including Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney and Jojo Siwa were also in attendance.
The newlyweds were first linked in 2019 and went public with their romance in early 2021. Weeks after news broke of their relationship, Viall revealed that he first connected with Joy after she slid into his DMs.
Joy and Viall welcomed their daughter River Rose in February 2024.
Joy, who has suffered multiple miscarriages as the pair tries to conceive and expand their family of three, opened up to her followers via Instagram Story on March 24, only one day after sharing the news of another pregnancy loss. “Spent yesterday away from my phone but overwhelmed by the love I woke up to,” she wrote at the time. “Thanks for hanging on with us, we’ll get our rainbow baby one day I’m sure of it.”
Joy and Viall shared the news of their miscarriage on March 23.“While mourning the loss of our second baby at the beginning of this year, I quickly and very unexpectedly found out I was pregnant again,” she wrote in an Instagram Story.
“It took some time for me to accept what had happened, only to be handed another chance so easily and so fast. But eventually, I found so much happiness. We were finally in a place of complete and utter gratitude,” she continued. “This past week, I miscarried again.”
Joy also added that she underwent a D&C following the miscarriage. She plans to go “back to squeezing my husband and my sweet angel River Rose, who are truly the reason I have survived this time and time.”
